
Blaire Borthayre is a Mexican American speaker, trainer and consultant in the field of Hispanic marketing. She is the author of four industry specific Hispanic marketing books. Raised by her grandmother on the Texas border, Blaire was the only English speaker in the household and learned how to build bridges between two cultures at an early age.
Ms. Borthayre is an accomplished speaker and trainer. Her articles about Hispanic consumer behavior appear regularly in newspapers, magazines, and on internet sites. She has most recently appeared on NBC Nightly News, ABC Eyewitness News and National Public Radio.
Blaire has also been a volunteer and advocate in the immigrant Hispanic community for the past fifteen years. She maintains a database of Hispanic immigrants across the country which enables her to access feedback and products and services. By working directly with the people, she keeps her finger on the pulse of their feedback about goods and services in the United States. She has utilized her real life experiences to guide companies towards an "in culture" marketing approach to maximize success.
Her client roster has included Circuit City, Nationwide Insurance, Duke University, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, and Ace Cash Express. Blaire is a graduate of the Hispanic Marketing and Communications program at Florida State University and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
